Playgroups are run and organised by all members.

Everyone is welcome at Playgroups, children from birth to six years can attend.

The aim of Playgroup is to encourage positive adult/child interaction and to provide a stimulating environment for children; at the same time parents and carers gain support from other adults.

The strength of the playgroup is the time, energy and skills parents and carers provide.

An AGM of the playgroup must be held between 1st Oct and 15 Nov each year. At least three General Meetings should be held during the year.

The Association encourages playgroups to be smoke-free zones. Please be considerate of others and not smoke during sessions.

Each and every carer/member is responsible for the discipline and safety of their own children. Members are not permitted by law to hit another persons child.

All members have the right to sight the account books and ensure money is being spent as directed by the group.
